Where would we be without beer and skittles?
It’s your last chance to book your place on our brand new singles and pairs weekend takes place from September 29 to October 1, 2023 at the Derwent Hotel in Torquay. It’s unashamedly a skittles indulgence where you’ll be rolling in three competitions, singles, pairs and mixed pairs from Friday afternoon onwards. Many of you asked us for an event in the Autumn so here it is – something a little bit different and at a great price.
Your weekend includes two nights at the fabulous Derwent, meals, two nights of live entertainment with dancing and of course skittles – all under one roof. The hotel has an amazing array of facilities for you to use if you wish, including indoor and outdoor pools, a luxurious spa including a fire and ice sensory experience, huge games centre with pool, arcade games, snooker and even ten pin bowling. And there’s even Albert’s Bar, with live sport and pub grub in a proper local atmosphere. The hotel is only 200 yards from the seafront, and a short walk into the town centre and harbourside. And all for £205.
Come along in any combo, singles, couples, mates, groups teams whatever – we’ll sort it out. If you love skittles, we guarantee a fun weekend playing your favourite sport in excellent company. On Saturday night we invite you to dress to impress, so anything from your red carpet outfit to your favourite jeans or fancy dress will do the biz. Just make sure you pack your boogie shoes. Non players also very welcome.
This is a self drive event so you can plan your journey however you wish. We just ask you to be at the hotel by Friday afternoon around 2 pm for the first stages of the competitions.
Now we need you to do your bit and get your booking in by March 24 as we have to give numbers to the hotel.
