We’re super excited to unveil a brand new venue for our 2026 programme. 
We have secured our first weekend for the fabulous Ashbury Hotel in Okehampton, set in 600 acres of the most glorious Dartmoor countryside. The hotel describes itself quite rightly as a three star hotel with five star facilities – and we agree.
Brace yourself for more excitemen! We plan to have at least seven alleys, possibly eight, accommodating around 300 guests. So your weekend at Ashbury will be on a par with the size of our Derwent Torquay weekends including all our usual great entertainment, bands and DJ. And of course, scrummy food and comfy beds.
Stand by for a very very very long list of facilities and things to do – when you’re not on the alleys, on the dance floor or propping up the bar. There are four golf courses with a total of 103 holes, football pitches, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, tennis ball machines, badminton, squash and table tennis. You might even want to try your hand at two new racket sports – padel is a cross between tennis and squash and pickleball is an amalgam of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Confused? You won’t be.

Still any energy left, how about ice or roller skating or ice curling. We think skittlers would be pretty ace at this!
If that all seems a bit hectic, you can wind down in the spa with sauna, spa baths and steam room or take a leisurely dip in the indoor pool. 
Or how about a pre alley game of darts or snooker, have a go at archery, hire a bike or warm up for your match on one of the four indoor bowling rinks.
Ok – after that lot you might need a lie down – and the bedrooms at Ashbury won’t disappoint. All ensuite bedrooms feature everything you need for an enjoyable stay, including tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, lockable safe and free wifi.
You’ll find plenty of well stocked bars, several with big screen TVs showing Live Sky Sports and TNT, just in case you don’t want to miss a big match or sports event.
