“The Durrant House Hotel has a large car park which is covered by CCTV and also patrolled by staff and the guard dog at intervals during the night. All the cruises and shine and show events have pre arranged parking areas for the classic cars.”

"All rooms have en-suite Italian marble bathrooms, with tea & coffee making facilities, clock radio, hair-dryer TV, iron & ironing board, thick white fluffy towels, in-house laundry facilities and room service menus as standard. In addition the Superior Rooms have oversize rain shower heads, luxurious toiletries, sofas and corresponding soft furnishings and cushions. For the ultimate upgrade why not indulge your senses and unwind your mind in one of the super luxurious double Jacuzzi. suites

There are double rooms, twin rooms and limited single rooms. There are also some triple bedded rooms if you are a party of all men or women who want to stay together!

Prices start from £179 per person, with additional options to upgrade your room or extend your stay to include Sunday night for just £35 per person. Pricing shown is for a minimum of 2 persons sharing, single supplements do apply."

"We have many classic car owners flying solo and there are single rooms available at a small supplement of £15pppn. We will invite you to sit with other solo car owners or those of the same marque too. No one is truly on their own at our event."

"Our weekend is 2 nights at £179pp based on 2 persons sharing with the option to stay Sunday at just £35pp. If you would like to make a longer stay and arrive prior to the event or stay beyond Sunday we can arrange this for you. Just let us know what your requirements are and we can organise this for you."

"The scenic Exmoor tour to Lynton & Lymouth round trip is approx. 70 miles with the choice of routes there and on the return. Sunday is a mere 6 mile procession ending at the Big Sheep, hosts of the Classic Car Shine & Show Event."

“Of course. The sample menus for the weekend are available to view on our events page and offer a vegetarian option as standard. If you have a dietary request such as coeliac or allergies please advise us on the booking form or when you make your booking over the phone so we can inform the hotel of your requirements.”

“Saturday night is a chance to fully embrace the classic era where guests can get into the classic theme by dressing from the era of their classic car. However, if you prefer, you could come as anything classic, this could be a classic movie star or famous person! Let your imagination run wild! It’s not compulsory, just for fun so you can choose to dress to impress, either way its your weekend and totally your choice.”

“There are loads of things to do on this weekend apart from the classic events. The Durrant House Hotel has the wonderful relaxing R&R Beauty Salon and Spa, where you can be pampered with treatments for her, him or both of you!! Have a work out in the Sky Room Gym or chill out in the reading rooms or bar watching the world go by. Bideford town and quayside is only a short distance away with a local bus stop right outside the hotel. Shopping in nearby Barnstable is a must taking in Greenlanes shopping centre and the old fashioned Pannier Market. With stunning North Coast scenery and beaches at hand there is plenty to explore whatever and wherever you fancy going, everywhere on the North coast is accessible from this ideal location.”
